Job summary

HelloFresh in Berlin is seeking a (Senior) Category Manager Marketing to oversee strategic sourcing and contracting for Marketing across categories such as Offline/Online Media, Influencer Marketing, Sponsorships and more. You’ll collaborate with global and regional stakeholders and major suppliers to navigate HelloFresh’s procurement landscape.

We want an entrepreneurial, proactive procurement professional with strong prioritisation, data handling and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience in Marketing procurement or in Marketing with a commercial focus.
• Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology, category management, and supplier management.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and drive to work independently.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving resolution without direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with business partners at different levels.

• Own end-to-end Marketing sourcing: supplier market mapping, RFx execution, negotiation, and contract award for high-value projects
• Develop category strategies for different marketing categories, in alignment with the business goals
• Create, align and execute a sourcing roadmap with HQ and regional markets to deliver P&L savings and procurement value
• Develop and optimize the supplier portfolio across Hello Fresh’s markets
• Cultivate and manage close relationships with senior business partners within Marketing to support objectives
• Lead the implementation of best-in-class procurement processes and tools

The role

The (Senior) Category Manager Marketing will be responsible for overseeing strategic sourcing and contracting at HelloFresh for Marketing across different marketing categories, which may include: Offline Media, Online Media, Influencer Marketing, Sponsorships, Retail Media, etc. The goal is to collaborate seamlessly with Global and regional stakeholders and major suppliers in all HelloFresh markets and help them to navigate the procurement landscape. In addition, the role will be supporting initiatives targeted to increase the maturity level of Indirect Procurement’s processes and systems landscape. As part of the Marketing Procurement team the position will report to the respective lead based in Berlin.

What you’ll bring

• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build trust and credibility with business partners at different levels
• Able to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
• Fluent Business English
