American Electric Power is seeking an experienced procurement leader to manage project procurement for major energy infrastructure initiatives. The role partners with EPC contractors, OEMs, and engineering firms to develop contracting strategies and supplier plans from early development to closeout.

You will drive commercial leadership, negotiate significant contracts, and guide change management while safeguarding the company's commercial interests across large-scale projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years in procurement or equivalent.
• Alternative: Associate's degree with 9+ years or HS with 10+ years.
• Experience with EPC, construction, and large capital projects preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement project procurement strategies for EPC, construction contracts, and major equipment supplies.
• Lead contracting, sourcing plans, and supplier strategies across project lifecycles from development through closeout.
• Negotiate and administer significant EPC, construction, equipment supply, and professional services contracts.
• Oversee contract administration, change management, and contract closeout processes.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Risk, and Supply Chain to align strategies.
