Job summary

StackCommerce is seeking a seasoned Category Manager to source and onboard new brands and deals across digital and physical products. You will own the merchant pipeline in Salesforce, negotiate pricing, build win-win plans, and expand our product portfolio while staying ahead of industry trends.

Collaborating with Publisher Account Management, Merchandising, Production, Operations and Content, you will use Looker, Google Analytics and Google Suite to maximize performance and revenue.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in B2B inside sales or category management.
• Experience canvassing and cold outreach to new prospects.
• Experience with ecommerce buying, daily deals, and refurbished electronics.
• Salesforce experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven track record in selling and closing deals.
• Action-oriented with demonstrated results.
• Ability to close 6-figure daily deals.
• A hungry closer who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and onboard new brands and deals to expand Stack’s product portfolio.
• Own and manage the prospective merchant pipeline in Salesforce, progressing leads through the sales funnel from initial outreach to close.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure pricing, volume discounts, and favorable terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, developing win-win business plans for exclusive deals for Stack.
• Stay abrest of industry trends, consumer preferences, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
