Ideal candidates have 4+ years in personal injury litigation, strong deposition and trial experience, and are licensed to practice in Texas. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• First chair or significant second chair trial experience.
• Extensive deposition experience, including expert depositions.
• Strong legal research, writing and communication skills.
• Active and good standing Texas bar.
• Juris Doctor degree.
• Spanish and English bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex personal injury litigation matters from petition through jury trial.
• Manage non-subscriber industrial accident, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and dram shop cases.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, handle mediations and take depositions.
• Work with expert witnesses across multiple fields.
• Represent clients in state and federal court with minimal supervision.
• Manage occasional commercial litigation matters as needed.
