The ideal attorney is a true trial lawyer with substantial experience handling high-exposure tort litigation, preferably involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, product liability, construction accidents, premises liability, property damage or other complex casualty matters.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of litigation experience.
• Significant tort/casualty defense experience.
• Demonstrated jury trial experience.
• First-chair trial experience preferred.
• Licensed in PA, NY, NJ, FL and/or CA.
• Willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop case and trial strategy.
• Conduct fact investigations.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Manage complex discovery.
• Identify and develop expert witnesses.
• Draft and argue motions.
• Conduct mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Prepare witnesses for testimony.
• First- and/or second-chair significant trials.
• Advise sophisticated corporate and insurance clients.
• Travel nationally for depositions, hearings and trials.
