The role collaborates with analytics and actuarial teams, develops dashboards using R, and translates complex policy structures and scenarios into actionable insights for underwriters and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative finance, risk management, actuarial science or related.
• 5 years of experience as a Risk Analyst, catastrophe modeling analyst or related.
• Experience with RMS RiskLink and SQL within commercial property and personal lines insurance.
• Ability to run and interpret complex perils models (hurricane, earthquake, flood, wildfire).
• Translate technical results into actionable insights for underwriters and ERM teams.
• Understand complex insurance policy structures including coverages, deductibles, sublimits, and reinsurance.

Responsabilités

• Provide support to High-Net-Worth homeowners business with monthly portfolio modeling reports.
• Produce modeled CAT analysis for property pricing, portfolio optimization and aggregation management.
• Run scenario impact analyses with product and actuarial teams; assess impact of rate, deductible, or guideline changes.
• Produce pre-bind analysis for large property submissions.
• Work with Analytics teams to ensure accurate reporting of data for modeling.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and automate processes using R within insurance.
