Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Senior Catastrophe Claims Specialist to join a dedicated CAT claims team. The role involves investigating and settling personal and commercial property claims in the field, with on-call deployment and travel across the country.

This position requires extensive travel and can involve deployments to various claims offices. Primary duties include evaluating damages, obtaining statements, conducting inspections, and negotiating settlements in accordance with policy

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience or combination of related experience, education and training.

Responsibilities

• Responds to deployment directives and travels to catastrophe areas to evaluate, negotiate, and settle personal and commercial lines property claims.
• Investigates and completes physical inspections of property claims, evaluates damages, and prepares written estimates.
• Initiates first contact with insureds and all relevant parties to gather basic information and explain the claims process.
