Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Catastrophe Claims Consultant to serve as a first responder on a dedicated CAT claims team. The role involves investigating and settling personal and commercial property claims in the field, with extensive travel and a 12‑hour shift schedule on a 10‑on/4‑off pattern.

Work is predominantly field-based (about 90% in the field, 10% in offices) within the St. Louis, MO area and surrounding regions.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal and commercial lines property claims handling.
• Ability to conduct onsite inspections and prepare written estimates.
• Driver license required; drone license for roof inspections within 5 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Respond to deployments to catastrophe areas and evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims across multiple locations.
• Investigate claims with physical inspections, assess damages, and prepare written estimates.
• Initiate contact with insureds and relevant parties to gather information and explain the claims process.
