Job summary

Amazon's Catalog Abuse team in Tempe, AZ seeks a Senior Risk Manager to lead investigations into catalog abuse patterns, partner with engineering, data science, and legal teams, and drive risk mitigation across our product catalog.

You will mine large datasets with SQL, manage executive escalations, ensure regulatory compliance, and design scalable detection tools to protect customers and brand owners worldwide. Excellent analytical and collaborative skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• Advanced SQL data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations to identify new catalog abuse patterns via large-scale data analysis.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies with engineering, science, and product teams.
• Own end-to-end management of high-priority and executive escalations.
• Manage regulatory compliance documentation and CMA reporting.
• Leverage AI to scale detection and enforcement.
• Design and implement process improvements with metrics and dashboards for abuse detection.
• Create deep-dive analyses and executive summaries.
• Identify policy gaps and propose solutions for emerging abuse patterns.
• Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Monitor trends in e-commerce affecting catalog integrity.
