Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Compliance Analyst for North American Surface Transportation (NAST) Compliance in Tempe, AZ. You will execute daily compliance operations, track datasets, and generate reports to keep safety programs audit-ready.

Under the Sr Risk Manager, you will maintain data quality, run analyses, and drive process improvements across compliance workflows while maintaining documentation and training support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA).
• Experience with Oracle, or advanced Excel macros.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compliance operations including SIM intake, case tracking, and documentation according to established procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of compliance datasets with daily updates and quality audits.
• Generate and validate weekly/monthly compliance reports using Excel and SQL for stakeholders.
• Track compliance workflows to completion and follow up with owners to ensure closure.
• Identify data quality issues and coordinate with data owners to resolve discrepancies.
• Compile and validate materials including metrics, trend analysis, and action item status for leadership review.
• Schedule and facilitate compliance sessions and capture notes with follow-up within 24 hours.
• Assist training teams by providing compliance data and tracking completion metrics.
• Organize compliance documentation repositories for audits.
• Recommend process improvements and present findings to the Compliance Program Manager.
• Commit to a consistent 4x10 schedule (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat).
