Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Principal Casting Engineer to lead internal casting for jet propulsion components at the Loveland, Ohio facility. You will act as the technical authority, translating engine designs into high‑integrity cast parts and driving scalable casting operations.

The role requires deep metallurgy expertise, experience with casting simulations, and a track record of delivering complex components in aerospace/defense. Security clearance is required for U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 15+ years in precision investment casting with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Experience with superalloys, vacuum melting, ceramic shell chemistry, and defect prevention.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for casting process across programs.
• Mentor engineers in casting fundamentals and metallurgy.
• Review gating/riser designs and process docs for development and production.
• Lead development of SX/DS/EQ and additive-enabled casting workflows.
• Oversee casting simulation to predict defects and optimize gating.
