Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Principal Casting Engineer at our Loveland, Ohio facility to lead internal casting of engine components. You will translate complex designs into high-integrity cast parts, scale precision casting, and drive process innovation in a fast-paced defense-focused environment.

The role requires deep metallurgy expertise, casting simulation, defect analysis, and leadership in cross-functional teams, with readiness to obtain security clearance as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in precision investment casting, with leadership experience.
• Security clearance eligibility; U.S. citizenship preferred for clearance.
• Experience with casting of superalloys, vacuum melting, ceramic shell chemistry, and defect prevention.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for the casting process and drive continuous improvement across programs.
• Mentor engineers in casting fundamentals, metallurgy, and best practices.
• Review and approve gating/riser designs, shell configurations, and process documents for development and production.
