Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned leader for Case Management and Housing Specialist teams to guide assessment, advocacy, and client outcomes. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, confidentiality, and cross-agency collaboration in serving homeless and low-income adults.

The position requires a social work background, strong mentorship skills, and the ability to manage complex cases while ensuring program compliance across all participant files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Two years of successful experience in the delivery of human services.
• Knowledge of social casework objectives, principles, and methods.
• Knowledge of CPS and APS.
• Experience with homeless populations and barriers faced by the unhoused.
• Extensive experience with strength-based case management and trauma-informed care models.
• Experience with low-income adults from diverse backgrounds who have homelessness or disability history.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional integrity.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers including MS Office and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, mentorship, and technical assistance to the Case Management and Housing Specialist team
• Perform and oversee comprehensive assessments of program participants' needs
• Manage the program's most complex client cases
• Monitor, review, and audit participant case files, ensuring compliance
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development to Case Managers and Housing Specialists
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners and resource agencies
• Maintain and update all client files to ensure compliance
• Transport program participants as directed
• Establish and maintain positive relations with stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all VOA policies and safety regulations
