Job summary

Midland-Marvel Recruiters, LLC is assisting a community hospital system in adding a Senior Case Management Director. This leadership role oversees Care Management across a hospital and two critical access facilities, directing managers and supervisors while partnering with senior leadership to coordinate utilization, appeals and clinical training.

The position requires a nursing leadership background with advanced degrees and CCM/ACM certifications, plus extensive experience in diverse care

Qualifications

• 6 years of clinical/operational leadership experience managing patient care services in a complex healthcare environment.
• 5 years of Director/Manager level experience in Case Management.
• Experience across settings from acute inpatient to outpatient clinics.
• Coursework in case management, managed care, and utilization management; cross-continuum exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the managers and supervisors of Care Management located at each hospital.
• Lead, coordinate and support care management operations in partnership with the Director of Care Management and Directors of Utilization, Appeals and Clinical Training.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Master's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field

BLS (American Heart Association) certification

ACM Certification (American Case Management Association)

CCM Certification (Commission for Case Manager Certification)

Job description

Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on a Senior Case Management Director! Sign On Bonus and Full Relocation!

Oversight of the managers and supervisors of Care Management located at each hospital and is accountable and responsible for collaboratively leading, coordinating and supporting care management operations in partnership with the Director of Care Management and the Directors of Utilization, Appeals and Clinical Training.

• This is over a hospital and 2 critical access hospitals
• 45 direct reports and 2 supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Master's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field
• 6 years of clinical/operational leadership experience that provided the opportunity to manage a variety of patient care services in a complex healthcare environment.
• 5 years Director/Manager level experience in Case Management.
• Experience in a variety of healthcare settings, from acute care inpatient facilities to outpatient clinics.
• Coursework in case management, managed care, and/or utilization management and experience in varied cross-continuum care settings (acute, outpatient, other).
• Required upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)
• Required within 1 year of hire: Accredited Case Manager (ACM) - American Case Management Association (Facility Managed) or required within 1 year of hire
• Certified Case Manager (CCM) - Commission for Case Manager Certification (Facility Managed)
