Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Network Engineer Expert to own and advance enterprise network security services in a remote-capable role. You will lead as the primary CASB SME, focus on SkyHigh CASB, DLP, and cloud security initiatives, and drive CASB migrations from Skyhigh to Palo Alto solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure high security posture, and mentor teammates while supporting on-call rotations and complex transition projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years experience with CASB solutions.
• SkyHigh CASB and Palo SaaS/SASE technologies are required.
• Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Excellent communication skills with presentations and briefings to diverse audiences.
• Possess or able to obtain DoW 8140/8570 Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, or equivalent).
• Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator and SME for the Skyhigh CASB platform, including configuration and policy management.
• Manage, tune, and optimize DLP, anomaly detection, user activity monitoring, tenant restrictions, and cloud application control policies.
• Maintain integrations with identity providers, SIEM/SOAR, email security, and endpoint security tools.
• Create and update documentation, diagrams, guides, SOPs and runbooks.
• Support and develop automation for configuration, validation, and reporting tasks.
• Provide guidance on CASB migration efforts (Skyhigh to Palo Alto SASE/SSE).
• Monitor and improve deployments; participate in phased rollouts under lead engineers.
