Job summary
Maryland Stadium Authority seeks an experienced Maintenance Senior Technician – Carpentry to perform journey-level carpentry, repair, and maintenance for facilities and operations. The role requires independent judgment to assess carpentry problems and determine methods, with capability to support other trades when needed.
The position emphasizes advanced carpentry skills, building fixtures, doors, walls, flooring, and related components, while ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to trade
Qualifications
- Education: high school diploma or GED.
- Experience: five years skilled building construction/maintenance; at least three years in carpentry.
- Apprenticeship/technical training may substitute for part of experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled carpentry construction, installation, maintenance and repair of buildings and components.
- Install doors, hardware, trim, cabinetry, walls, ceilings, floors.
- Read blueprints and estimate materials, time, and labor.
- Inspect for safety and maintain documentation in CMMS.
- Assist other trades and respond to work orders and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes and policies.
