Job summary

Maryland Stadium Authority seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician specialized in Carpentry at Camden Yards Sports Complex in Baltimore, MD. The role requires journey-level carpentry skills, strong reading of blueprints, and the ability to plan and execute complex repairs and restorations.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing doors, walls, cabinetry, and structural components, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with other trades.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience performing skilled building construction, maintenance, or repair work, including carpentry.
• Completion of a recognized carpentry apprenticeship or related training may substitute part of the experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled and advanced carpentry work on buildings, fixtures, and cabinetry.
• Constructs and repairs walls, doors, windows, flooring, and related components.
• Frames openings and installs doors, hardware, trim, and finishes.
• Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs across facility systems.
• Reads plans, estimates materials, and coordinates with other trades as needed.
• Maintains records and uses CMMS/work orders to document work.
