Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Iowa is seeking a Care Giver/Med Tech to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents, while maintaining a safe, home-like environment. You will help with daily living activities and participate in life enrichment programs.

Qualified candidates may have CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits offered in a full-time/part-time capacity.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and support to each resident while maintaining a safe home-like environment.
• Observe and report changes in resident conditions and respond to care needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation).
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Support with medication administration and document appropriately.
