Job summary

Arvum Senior Living in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Care Giver/Med Tech to provide compassionate hands-on care to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. You will support daily living activities, monitor residents, and work with the nursing team to uphold safety and comfort.

This role includes medication observation, documentation, and assisting with treatments, with on-the-job training available. Full-time positions include benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift and check on them regularly.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and changes in residents’ condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident independence and safety.
• Assist in medication observation and support with the Nurse/Health Care Coordinator.

Education

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred

High School diploma/GED

CPR Certification preferred

First Aid Certification preferred
