Job summary

FILRO Caregivers is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers for seniors on an hourly "come and go" or live-in basis in Illinois. We aim to enhance quality of life with personalized, respectful care and a harmonious team environment.

Responsibilities include observing clients, assisting with daily tasks, providing companionship, and ensuring accurate time-tracking via our FILRO Caretime app. Join us to support independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of caregiver experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Valid driver's license or state ID.
• Proof of work eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, twist, push and pull; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Observe client functioning and report changes to a supervisor or designated person.
• Assist with household tasks including meal planning, cooking, light housekeeping, linens, and laundry.
• Assist with shopping and escort to appointments and engagements outside the home.
• Provide companionship.
• Complete caregiver time sheets via FILRO Caretime app for each visit.
• Provide emotional support and encourage independence.
