Job summary

FILRO Caregivers is seeking compassionate caregivers for seniors in Park Ridge, IL for hourly come-and-go or live-in assignments. Build trusted relationships and provide hands-on care across a range of home care needs.

You will support meals, light housekeeping, transportation, companionship, and personal care, with flexible schedules and competitive pay. Eligibility includes US work authorization, background checks, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on experience as a caregiver, including transfers, bathing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Experience providing both live-in care and flexible come-and-go hourly care.
• Experience providing dementia care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors and build trusting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Escort clients to appointments, errands, and community activities as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging independence and dignity.
• Assist seniors with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities safely.
