Americare Senior Living is hiring a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents in a warm, home-like setting in Fairview Heights, IL. You’ll help with daily activities, maintain dignity, and work closely with a caring team of nurses and aides.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and compassionate interactions, with shifts available and a fully supportive workplace that values growth, flexibility, and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
