Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Springfield, TN is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to assist residents with daily living in a home‑like setting. You will play a vital role in ensuring safety, comfort, and respectful care while collaborating with a caring team of nurses and aides.

The position offers 2nd shift hours (2-10p) with both full and part‑time options. CPR/BLS certifications are a plus and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Required: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and listening abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team to support residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while maintaining resident dignity.
• Monitor safety and observe changes in condition; report to nursing staff.
• Document resident care and changes accurately.
• Engage residents in activities to promote well-being and social engagement.
