Job summary

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking a dedicated caregiver for a Monday through Friday 11am–5pm schedule (30 hours per week). The caregiver will provide personal care, meal preparation, and companionship in a safe, professional setting, reporting to the Director of Operations.

Applicants should have prior non-medical caregiving experience, be authorized to work in the United States, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Non-Medical Caregiver is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must have a cellphone or tablet for work communications.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable.
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary.
• Converses with patients to provide assurance.
• Observes Universal Precautions.
• Provides patient transportation to appointments and activities.
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Summary:

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is looking for a Caregiver to work a Monday - Friday Shift 11am-5pm. We are looking for experienced caregivers who have excellent communication skills, previous experience working with seniors and those who truly love providing care. The main function of the caregivers is to provide care for clients in a safe, secure, professional environment which meets their needs. We are looking for someone to assist with personal care, meal preparation and other general companionship services. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 11am-5pm (30 Hours a week)

Primary Responsibilities:
