Job summary

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking weekend Caregivers to join our team. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Applicants must have at least three years of experience as a Caregiver and ideally have weekend experience.

• Must have previous experience as a Non-Medical Caregiver.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily routine care: bathing, dressing, feeding.
• Assist with house maintenance as needed.
• Answer client calls and coordinate with families.
• Engage with patients to provide reassurance.
• Observe Universal Precautions.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Handle patient laundry and linen changes.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is hiring for Caregivers that want to work on the weekend. Shifts will range from 4-12 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Our Non-Medical Caregivers will report directly to the Staffing / Care Coordinator.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
