Job summary

The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia seeks a Senior Associate Director, Career Advisor for the MSQF program. You will manage industry connections, coordinate with clubs, alumni, and the MSQF team to support student job searches and career initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of Student Advising, this role requires MBA or graduate degree and 5–7 years in recruiting or career coaching, strong consultative skills, and travel ability.

Qualifications

• MBA or other graduate degree strongly preferred with 5–7 years in recruiting, job placement, career counseling or coaching.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to work across levels and teams.
• Experience managing programs and partnerships with industry and alumni is essential.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct student career advising in large groups, small groups, or one-on-one sessions.
• Guide students through job search stages: self-assessment, resume, networking, interviews.
• Manage content for job-search tools and resources and coordinate with program teams.
• Co-manage employer relationships to support internships and full-time opportunities.
