Job summary

The McGregor Foundation in Cleveland is seeking a Digital Content & Communications Specialist to bring its mission to life across screens. You will create reels, short-form video, graphics, and presentations for social platforms, email campaigns, websites, print, and media.

You’ll tell authentic stories from residents, families, caregivers, and partners, design engaging visuals, and support a coordinated editorial calendar with the Chief Growth Officer to advance awareness and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in communications or marketing.
• Hands‑on experience with all major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
• Proven experience creating reels and short‑form video, from concept and filming through editing and posting.
• Experience building visual presentations using PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva.
• Graphic design experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
• A talent for visual storytelling: turning real stories into compelling photos, video, and graphics.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience managing web content and digital campaigns across platforms.
• Proven success in media relations and strategic communication planning.
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and publish content across all social media platforms including reels, video, photos, and graphics.
• Plan and run email, digital, and video campaigns to build awareness and drive event participation.
• Grow engagement across channels and deliver measurable results.
• Monitor analytics and use insights to sharpen content and strategy.
• Develop engaging content for social media, website, and print materials.
• Tell authentic stories of residents, PACE participants, families, caregivers, and partners.
• Design visual presentations for leadership, sales, and community audiences.
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers on high‑quality content.
