Job summary

Victorian Senior Care seeks an experienced administrator for the Special Care Unit. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and develop/deliver programs aligned with resident needs. Responsibilities include budgeting, training, and maintaining safety and quality of care for residents with dementia.

You will work closely with families, regulatory bodies and team members to promote dignity, rights and compassionate care in a secure, well-organized unit.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to read, write and follow directions.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED; CNA/Personal Care Aide certs preferred.
• Must have 2+ years supervisory/management experience in adult care.
• Must have dementia care experience and compassion for seniors.
• Must possess CPR or be willing to become CPR certified within 60 days.
• Must have or obtain Medication Aide Certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Special Care Unit operations ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Train, supervise and evaluate staff; ensure quality care delivery.
• Develop programs meeting goals; manage budgeting and resources.
• Coordinate with family, regulators and advocates; uphold resident rights.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping and treatment plans are properly implemented.
