Zebulon House seeks a dedicated Resident Transporter to safely move residents to medical appointments, social activities, and community outings. You will assist residents during boarding and exiting vehicles, keeping safety and comfort as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to safely operate a passenger transport vehicle is required (training provided).
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Safely transport residents to and from scheduled medical appointments, social outings, and other activities as directed.
• Resident Assistance: Provide assistance to residents during boarding and exiting vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure company vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly maintained. Report any issues or concerns to management.
• Schedule Coordination: Work closely with staff and residents to ensure timely transportation scheduling and efficient route planning.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility protocols to ensure a secure and positive travel experience for residents.
• Communication & Documentation: Maintain accurate transportation logs and report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Customer Service: Engage with residents in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive and reassuring experience during transportation.
