Job summary

Pomeroy Living in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking a dependable Scheduling Coordinator to maintain staffing levels for the care team and ensure high-quality resident care. This full-time role involves using scheduling software, coordinating with staff, and supporting payroll processes.

You will assist with recruitment and onboarding, post schedules in advance, and help reduce overtime through smart scheduling and PT/PRN staffing, while upholding excellent communication with the team and residents’

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with OnShiftX scheduling software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership.
• Attention to detail and multitasking capability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staffing levels and adjust coverage as needed.
• Fill open shifts using scheduling software, texts, and calls.
• Reduce overtime with strategic scheduling and PRN staff.
• Publish schedules two weeks in advance for four weeks ahead.
• Support payroll timekeeping and correct mis-punches daily.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding for care team roles.
