Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents and provide speech therapy services. You will develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and collaborate with physicians and the care team to optimize outcomes.

The role includes supervising CFY clinicians or students, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining infection control and safety standards in the facility. A state license and ongoing CE compliance are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Masters or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
  • Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
  • Supervise CFY or students in resident care and related activities.
  • Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, and families.
