Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat residents with swallowing and communication challenges, set goals, and implement individualized treatment plans within a collaborative care setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain before employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Set treatment goals and develop/implement speech pathology treatment programs.
• Provide rehabilitative services as part of a coordinated team per medical orders.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plan of care.
• Treat residents one-on-one with private sessions and functional-based approach.
• Individualize treatment sessions.
• Maintain a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend/holiday requirements.
