Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Kansas to help evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments.

The role emphasizes building relationships with patients, delivering care with joy, and collaborating with a rehab therapy team in a senior living setting. Responsibilities include creating treatment plans from evaluations, providing individualized sessions, and contributing to a multidisciplinary care plan.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques.
• Establish treatment goals, and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one on one with private treatment sessions and functional-based approaches.
