Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team serving senior living residents. Candidates must hold or be eligible for CCC-SLP certification and state licensure; strong interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills are essential.

You’ll evaluate swallowing and communication disorders, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification or eligibility.
• Current state licensure as SLP or ability to obtain before employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP programs after evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under medical orders as part of a team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, function-based sessions.
