Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited program in speech-language pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible for certification.
• Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or ability to obtain before starting.
• Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop customized SLP programs after full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to residents as part of a coordinated care team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plans of care for patients.
• Provide one-on-one treatment sessions with a functional-based approach.
