Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team and help senior patients live their best lives.

You’ll evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication impairments, set treatment goals, and collaborate with a coordinated care team to deliver evidence-based therapy. Qualifications

• Masters degree in speech-language pathology required.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain prior to starting employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop and implement SLP treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized attention using a functional-based approach.
