Legacy Healthcare Services in Florida seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a senior living setting. You will evaluate and treat swallowing and communication disorders, set goals, and develop evidence-based treatment plans within a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes one-on-one sessions, private treatments, and a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional-based treatment approach
