Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents in senior living communities. The role emphasizes evidence-based therapies, individualized private sessions, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to improve swallowing, communication, and cognitive outcomes.

A state license or eligibility is required. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements, comprehensive benefits, licensure

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/c cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
