Job summary

TIC Power Construction is seeking a Care and Preservation (C&P) Manager to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of preservation activities for large-scale power generation and energy infrastructure projects. This role ensures equipment, materials, systems, and facilities are protected from receipt through installation, commissioning, and turnover to preserve warranties and investments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in industrial construction, power generation, energy, or asset preservation.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Experience managing preservation programs for large capital projects.
• Strong understanding of equipment storage, maintenance, and warranty requirements.
• Ability to travel and work at project sites.
• Strong planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Care and Preservation programs for projects.
• Establish preservation requirements based on vendor recommendations and project specs.
• Ensure preservation activities align with schedules, turnover milestones, and construction strategies.
• Lead planning for long-term storage, laydown yard management, and equipment protection.
• Oversee preservation for major equipment: turbines, generators, HRSGs, transformers, pumps, motors, switchgear.
• Maintain preservation records to support warranty validity and project turnover.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance; coordinate with Quality and Construction teams.
• Coordinate preservation documentation and reporting for turnover to owners.
