Job summary

TIC Power Construction seeks a Care and Preservation (C&P) Manager to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of care, preservation, and asset protection for major energy projects. You will protect equipment and warranties from receipt through turnover to minimize rework and protect project investments.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in similar fields, plus experience with preservation programs for large capital projects, and strong planning, communication,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial construction, power generation, energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, commissioning, quality, maintenance, or asset preservation.
• Experience managing preservation programs for large capital projects.
• Strong understanding of equipment storage, maintenance, commissioning, and warranty requirements.
• Knowledge of power plant systems, heavy industrial equipment, and complex construction environments.
• Ability to interpret vendor manuals, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work at project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Care and Preservation programs, procedures, and execution plans.
• Establish preservation requirements based on vendor recommendations, project specifications, and industry best practices.
• Ensure care and preservation activities align with project schedules, turnover milestones, and construction execution strategies.
• Lead planning efforts for long-term storage, laydown yard management, and equipment protection strategies.
• Maintain compliance with owner requirements, manufacturer warranties, and contractual obligations.
