Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care communities in Bowling Green, KY. This part-time (1099) role offers flexible scheduling and impact in patient mobility.

You will diagnose and treat foot and lower limb conditions, deliver diabetic foot management, educate patients and caregivers, and document encounters in NextGen EMR on company-issued iPad, collaborating with facility staff to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree is required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings.
• Able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
