Hcshiring seeks a Medication Technician Assistant in Virginia to support residents with prescribed medications under RN/LPN supervision. This role requires attention to state guidelines and compassionate care across multiple shifts.

The position emphasizes accuracy in record keeping, patient safety, and helping with daily living activities, including vital signs and collaboration with the Wellness Director.

Competenze

• Must be authorized by state governing authority to assist or administer medication.
• Meets state assisted living medication assistant guidelines.
• Prefer experience with older adults.

Mansioni

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication under RN/LPN supervision.
• Verify resident identity and document drug details.
• Provide medication administration via oral, topical, eye, ear and other routes per guidelines.
• Take vital signs and monitor for reactions, reporting changes to Wellness Manager.
• Maintain accurate medication records and inventory as directed.
• Provide personal care and compassionate assistance to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities and maintain a safe environment.
