Qualifications

• Authorized by state governing authority to assist or administer medication.
• Meet requirements of the state assisted living medication assistant guidelines.
• Preferably experience in medication assistance with older adults.
• Demonstrates organizational skills.
• Mature, pleasant, friendly personality.

Responsabilités

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication under supervision.
• Verify resident identity and record drug details on mandatory forms.
• Present medications and observe ingestion or application.
• Take vital signs or monitor reactions and report changes to Wellness Manager.
• Maintain accurate medication records and comply with community policies.
• Assist with medication administration via oral, topical, and other routes per guidelines.
• Record and restock medication inventory as needed.
• Complete required annual medication training.
• Provide personal care with empathy and maintain resident dignity.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, and mobility as directed by RN or Wellness Manager.
• Maintain and protect electronic medical records and documentation.
