CIEL Senior Living in Orlando, FL is seeking a Medication Technician to assist residents with medications and personal care. You will document care in the EHR, participate in narcotic counts, and maintain the medication area to ensure accuracy and safety.

Strong communication and state-certified medication administration training are required. The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, CPR certification, and a clear English reading and writing ability.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Medication Administration training/certification per state requirements.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to communicate clearly in English.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification per state requirements is required or preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide medication assistance and personal care following company guidelines.
• Complete documentation per standards to ensure care services are delivered.
• Participate in narcotic count at shift change with accurate inventory notes.
• Administer medications as directed, following the Rights of Medication Administration.
• Maintain cleanliness of the medication room and cart; ensure timely reordering where needed.
• Notify pharmacy to obtain medications and inform families when mail-order meds need reordering.
• Document resident changes in the EHR and communicate updates to the care team.
• Oversee resident aides during the shift and participate in required training and staff meetings.
