Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shift in a high-acuity, senior care unit. The role provides direct patient care under RN supervision, with responsibilities including assessment, specimen handling, IV initiation, catheter care, and bedside procedures.

Requirements include a Michigan LPN license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR/BLS certification. Full-time schedule with three shifts per week and weekend rotation.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current Practical Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
• CPR or BLS Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Under RN direction, provide direct patient care to a specific group of patients.
• Assist with initial and ongoing assessment and data collection.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection as delegated.
• Initiate and discontinue IV access within scope of practice.
• Assist with urinary catheterization and basic bedside care.
• Perform routine lab procedures and point-of-care tests.
• Administer physician-directed treatments as directed.
• Support activities of daily living and unit-specific tasks.
