Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct, RN-guided patient care on a senior-focused unit. The LPN will assist with assessments, basic procedures, and daily living activities while maintaining safety and comfort for patients ages 65 and older.

The role requires a Michigan LPN license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR/BLS certification. Shifts are full-time, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Practical Nurse license in Michigan is required.
• CPR or BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial and ongoing patient assessments under RN supervision.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection as delegated by the RN/Physician.
• Initiate and discontinue IV access as appropriate for LPN scope of practice.
• Assist with basic bedside care including ECGs, dressing changes, and respiratory support.
• Administer physician-directed treatments and support activities of daily living.
