Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare seeks a dedicated nurse (RN or LPN) to provide direct resident care and supervise nursing staff in a long-term care facility in Tennessee. You will ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local standards, and maintain high-quality care for residents.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing assistants, charting, medication administration, and active participation in quality assurance and resident care planning.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in the state.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with rules and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Complete required forms and charts upon resident admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Administer medications as ordered and verify physician orders.
• Deliver resident care and monitor status, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys.
• Coordinate with physicians and other care team members to plan and implement care.
