Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to supervise nursing staff on the assigned unit, assess resident needs, and implement care plans in coordination with physicians and therapy teams. You will oversee CNAs, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state license.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Good leadership qualities.
• Organized and detailed in work performance.

• Genuine caring for elderly and disabled in a nursing facility.
• Comply with Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
• Assess resident needs, develop care plans, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care.
• Attend therapy meetings and coordinate with therapy and nursing staff.
• Document services rendered for billing and charting in resident records.
• Write admission and discharge notes and maintain complete discharge planning information.
• Maintain accurate staffing sign-in/out sheets and approve unit duties.
• Audit nursing charges and ensure compliance with policies.
• Promote teamwork and a safe, infection-controlled environment.
