Job summary

Union Post Acute in Union, SC is seeking a compassionate Driver to transport residents to appointments and activities, ensuring safe loading and unloading, and delivering a friendly, respectful experience for every resident. You will maintain the vehicle, complete transportation documentation, and follow all safety regulations.

A valid driver’s license with a clean record, 25+ years old, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 25 years old or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and other approved destinations.
• Assist residents with getting safely in and out of the vehicle.
• Provide a friendly, caring, and respectful experience for every resident.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facility vehicle.
• Complete required transportation documentation.
• Follow all facility, state, and safety regulations.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
