Job summary

Innovative Integrated Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead clinical nutrition and therapeutic diet initiatives in our CA-based programs.

You will assess participants, tailor diet plans, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality nutrition care. Under supervision of the Registered Dietitian Manager, you will conduct assessments, educate participants and caregivers, supervise dietary staff, and help implement nutrition-related quality improvement activities

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Medical terminology and documentation for assessments.
• Effective communication with employees, participants, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and conduct nutritional assessments; develop and implement the nutritional plan of care.
• Involved in development and implementation of QAPI activities.
• Supervise dietary staff and provide ongoing supervision and development.
• Monitor therapeutic diets and order liquid nutritional supplements as needed.
• Assess participants' access to food and coordinate referrals for meals and grocery support.
• Communicate with in-home service providers about meal prep and safety at home.
• Maintain diet-related budgets and ensure safe, sanitary work environments.
• Provide nutrition education to participants, families, and staff.
